In this short animation video, Santa Claus gets surprised by the corona virus. With the mask over his mouth and nose, he fights the virus. With this short clip, Christian Hörlesberger wished everyone a healthy and merry Christmas 2020.

Eberhard Jordan climbs tall buildings to draw attention to the fact that a happy life is possible with the lung disease COPD. In 2020, the film production also accompanied the awareness campaign myCOPD-CHALLENGE with the production of a video.

Due to the Covid19 crisis, the 2020 house collection of the
CARITAS ST-PÖLTEN NÖ WEST cannot be carried out as in previous years. Instead, a campaign on social media drew attention to an envelope that could be used to donate this year.
 
Christian Hörlesberger produced several videos for the campaign, which were published in June 2020 on the Caritas St.Pölten Facebook page.

In April 2020, the Vienna city broadcaster W24 supportedViennese companies with thecampaign"Together now!" in the Covid19 crisis. The companies were able to present themselves to the public with free advertising.

Christian Hörlesberger was of course also present with his video in this TV-BROADCAST.

MOTION CONTROL VIDEO

In March 2020 DREHSTROM Christian Hörlesberger Filmproduktion dealt intensively with the subject of motion control photography in film production.

With motion control photography, camera and object movements can be repeated exactly several times. Live action can be combined with models or visual effects, the same actor can appear multiple times in the same moving shot, or panning shots of time lapse photography are made possible. There are also new opportunities for filming products and objects.
 
In this short video a few examples of such effects are presented.

This course offers a humorous an innovative introduction to the European Portuguese an can be bought on the Udemy.com platform.

A quotation from a Portuguese writer builds the center of the course. The aim of the course is to change this quotation further, to learn more words and grammar and finally to build your own sentences in Portuguese

VIDEO PRODUCTION VIENNA HEALTH AWARD 2019

The VIENNA HEALTH PROMOTION - WiG awards the WIENER GESUNDHEITSPREIS (Vienna Health Award) every year. In August and September 2019 DREHSTROM produced several videos presenting and explaining various awarded projects. The videos were then published in September 2019 at the Vienna Health Promotion Conference and on the Internet.

In the videos, the award winners tell about their projects, how they came up with ideas, which solutions they developed for the problems and what successes they achieved with them. Animated text, graphics and photos helps to unterstand the spoken statements easier.

myCOPD CHALLENGE 2019 - VIDEOS

In the second half of 2019, the film productionproduced several videosfor the awareness campaign myCOPD-CHALLENGE to draw attention to the lung disease COPD. Eberhard Jordan, the initiator of the campaign, talks about his personal athletic challenge to climb the Donautrum in Vienna together with his therapist and his doctor and calls on other people to seek their own challenge.

Even with the - potentially life-threatening - chronic obstructive pulmonary disease COPD, a positive, enjoyable and happy life is possible. The myCOPD Challenge draws attention with ascents of towers right on time for the World COPD Day on November 20th2019 throughout Austria. Everyone can participate with the diagnosis COPD, in order to reach a personal goal - whether ascending a church tower, television tower or observation tower.

How is a positive, happy and active life with the disease COPD possible? What options do patients have to improve their situation? This video gives some answers and information about these questions. The myCOPD Challenge draws attention to the disease during the World COPD Day on November 20, 2019, throughout Austria with the ascents of towers and shows how the quality of life of those affected can be improved.

Christian Hörlesberger produced several case study videos for PURPUR MEDIA in the summer of 2019, which summarize and explain the ideas and successes of various advertising campaigns using animations and narration.

CASE STUDY VIDEO STEIRERKRAFT:

Since 2014, Steirerkraft has been producing videos on delicious recipes and explaining thepreparation of the dishes. However, the monthly content lacked the desired attention. With native advertising material, the advertising agency was able to generate high-quality traffic on the Steirerkraft website. A careful description of the working steps in text and video as well as an exact list of ingredients made cooking a breeze. Ingredients that were missing, you could easily order on the website.

CASE STUDY VIDEO COCA-COLA FIFA 19 eCUP:

As part of the "Electronic Sports Festival" in Vienna Coca-Cola sought participantsfor this year's FIFA19 eCup. The world's largest fan entertainment platform Fandom provides its users with interesting facts about movies & TV, gaming, streaming, music and much more. Fandom represents the optimal platform for the desired target group. Potential participants were inspired with a harmonious integration of high-quality advertising material. Overall, the Coca-Cola FIFA19 eCup had over 1,500 participants, far exceeding expectations.

iab webAD 2019 CATEGORY SPONSORS VIDEO PRODUCTION

At the beginning of May 2019, the videos were shot with the category sponsors of the iab webAD 2019. In each video one of the 26 categories of the award for digital advertising is presented. The person representing the sponsor in the video stands in an empty room, standing up to the music we hear. The camera moves constantly in a circle around the person. The person is seen several times in the same scene.

The camera was fixed on a tripod and the people were filmed in front of Green Screen. Not the camera was moved around the person, but the person had to turn around his own axis at a steady speed. Therefore the person stood on a small revolving stage, which turned evenly.
In post-production several takes were combined and composited into a 3d-animated room. The room had to turn at the same speed in the opposite direction of the revolving stage - that's how the illusion of the camera moving around the dancing people arose.
At the end of May, the videos were published on various social media channels of iab austria.

ACTORS "ABOUT ME" VIDEOS

In spring of 2019Christian Hörlesberger shot and produced short "about me" videos for KATI ZAMBITO and Thomas Nash to test the camera stabilization system WEEBILL LAB.
 
The system makes it very easy to stabilize camera movement and will be used in future online video projects.

At the beginning of May 2018, 22 videos were produced with the sponsors of the various award categories of the iab webAD 2018 - the most important prize for online advertising in Austria.
 
The sponsors drove a parkour with E-Scooter in the empty
MARX HALLE in Vienna and presented the new location for the Award Gala in October 2018.
 
At the end of May, the clips were released on various social media platforms in order to call interested parties to submit their entries for the award

Accenture D-A-CH organized an event in April 2018 on the subject of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
 
As an introduction to the topic Christian Hörlesberger produced a short animated film. The characters were brought to life with the help of Adobe CHARACTER ANIMATOR.

DREHSTROM Christian Hörlesberger Filmproduktion was the official film production partner of the iab webAD 2017, the award for digital advertising in Austria, and produced  video clips for the award show on the 12th of October in Vienna. The videos presented the sponsors for the categories of awards and the wining projects. The atmosphere of the event was documented with a highlight video.

In January 2017 Christian Hörlesberger produced the animated explainer video "Programmatic Advertising" for iab austria. The video explains some terms of the world of Internet advertising.

ANIMATED MUSIC VIDEO

The London based band PISTOLS AT DAWN recorded the protest song “Please Report Anything Auspicious To A Member Of Staff“ against the rise of the far right and xenophobia in answer to the Brexit referendum in June 2016.
 
The title refers to the cherry-picking of 'worthy' immigrants, and also points to an Orwellian dystopia. The music video for the song was designed, animated and produced by Christian Hörlesberger in Vienna.
The production took about 6 weeks in August and September 2016; the video was released on November-14-2016 on YouTube.
 
The music video gets along without any edits. An animated cartoon version of Nigel Farage, former leader of the UKIP, walks along a road. He spreads empty promises; then he starts to sing the song. Gradually other cartoon versions of right-wing populists join (Heinz-Christian Strache, Marine Le Pen, Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin). They sing the choruses together. During the video the environment gets darker and monotonously. At the end we find ourselves in a war zone.
 
The video was brought to life with Adobe Character Animator. The software allows someone to animate Characters by using the webcam, touchpad and keyboard. It is still in development and is being tested.
 
The band from London and the filmmaker from Vienna met at
RADAR MUSIC VIDEOS. On this internet platform for low budget music videos record labels and bands can put briefs online. Directors can pitch ideas and treatments for these briefs. The record labels and bands can choose one treatment and commission the filmmaker with the production of the video.

Christian Hörlesberger produced a 3D animated product video for the inventor Hannes Stürmer. The video presents the function and benefits of "Wingman" - a pick, which is able to protect beverage cans from dust and insects.
